Validity

I’m the fire that burns you inside out
still, you linger for my validity,
my existence, like I was yours from the very first day.
I wonder how it feels to be so tormented and obsessed with one soul at the same time.
I wonder if I am an hourglass body,
or the shadow behind me following you till eternity.
Somebody who’s been your love,
or the presence of a new temperament affecting your body.
Am i the flower you kissed or the thorn that bruised your lips.
I wonder how it feels to get so throbbing,
yet favourable at the same time.
I wonder how it’s easy for you to come back whenever I asked you to flee.
