Chilling in the roof, with my brother,

I said, “have you ever heard the song which confesses?”

He looked at me and yelled, “Why are you so Bollywood? ”

I shut his maw with my frozen hands,

And asked him to glimpse at those stars of loneliness.

Singing a lullaby I kept my hands on his eyes,

Sh! Loosen up yourself to the sky.

A minute of silence and then his teary eyes,

Conversed to my palm everything he hides.

This stillness is music you never heard before, I whispered,

In his ears which were listening to my every word.

He rested his head on my shoulder,

And let out “I am a blank soul from now onwards”.

These trees weren’t there in my sorrow,

This air was nostalgia that I couldn’t borrow.

Tears stopped running and I put my hands down,

Now it was just me and blemished moon beside me.

I feel Bollywood today my brother mumbled to me,

Chilling in the roof, with my brother,

I said I can feel the music you just confessed.
