love getting older

When I will see you wearing those round specs,

Holding stick with your wrinkled hands,

I will adore you more than ever.

Cause you completed passion,

I couldn’t commit to it when I was young.

In the room where you’ll be sitting next to me,

When you’ll be waiting to sip your favourite tea,

I’ll be next to you preparing it.

Our grandchildren would surely ask,

When did you realise you were in love,

I will confess “when I was sixteen ”,

unleash to them how you and I were a thing back then,

How love helps you grow in different ways.

I’ll kiss you in front of them,

I’ll show them the treasure they can discover,

They’ll see love does exist,

just not in a fairytale but every human.
