Will you bring a sunflower in your hands?
That moment when you’ll bend on your knees,
I hope you don’t ask me why I chose you,
Or why I wanted to stay when you asked me to go.
I’ll be in tears and chuckles, trying to reminisce the things before,
And awaken at the same time,
as I would never have thought to show.
Moreover, I’ll be thankful as you chose a sunflower,
Before cherishing the rose.
Don’t worry I would fall beside you too,
As I never said I would stand next,
I ain’t somebody who could protect.
In the summertime, I would be dropping at your door,
In the winter breeze, I would be your snow.
I ain’t that glorious like a rose I know,
Unusual like a sunflower, light I flaunt, petals I show.
