Manifesting

There can be a difference between you and her,

maybe she loves the way you love poetry and summer.

By this, I don’t mean you to get hurt,

I want you to go closer to her world.

Where there can be unicorns and dragons,

maybe she is a bit childish, waiting for nurture.

The rose in her garden may look pinker than those in yours,

maybe in winter like snow she falls.

There can be differences between the two lovers,

you can be the sun and she can be a moon fantasiser.

That doesn’t mean forcefully the affection should be created,

you don’t have to be someone else.

Be there for the one who you gave your heart to,

maybe she’ll like your warmth than it’s glow.

Be her gem found scarcely,

not the stone she was manifesting in her dreams.
