Never-ending stairs

She painted my eyes hazel,

I turned a bit of it to brown,

she was mesmerized by my beauty,

I draw some scars and wounds.

I did it for her, I don’t want to make her see me in a crown

if I’ll lose she’ll be broken down.

I hide many secrets from her,

darker memories that created me today,

I don’t want those tears of pain from her eyes for my awful past,

I’ve urged to almighty to let her see the good in people,

my mother has never seen me walking through, these never-ending stairs.
