Lion doesn’t withhold

I never feared the lion, as I’ve never seen one,

that’s when I understood that things,

when hidden from eyes, can be a nonentity in our world.

Situations that haven’t appeared yet,

we worry the most, we become wolves in our homes.

Where to uncover the actuality inside,

from where to begin when we are lost in the woods,

should we stay to protect?

Breathe before settling with your distress,

open your eyes the pain should be discerned,

as it’s your battle that shouldn’t be withheld.

The lion that I never feared is myself, I admire.
