Worshipping thyself

I never thought of being the unheard story of yours,

when I was 16, I chanted your name in my thoughts.

Had an impression of yours, not even almighty could rewrite,

I was devoting you even when the rain was pouring.

I had you in my mind when I realised

that love like this never lasts forever.

I saw that divine beauty in you, that was so pure like petals of the rose,

I never wanted you to go.

So starved for you, that I lost my beloved souls,

unaware of the sensibility that love never makes us lose precious.

I now see you realising the priority I made you while suffering,

I now have realised that throwing petals in feet

of thyself is more meaningful than worshipping.
